NIGHT MAIL productions is setting up its second combined event.

“Station 2” will be held at Foudoulis' Center of Art, in Volos and it is scheduled for 6 and 7 April 2012.

Once again, this is a two day event, but this time NMP will present a wider artistic set.

The Art of Joy project is no longer a solo project!!! Nick Tsirtoglou is the new guitarist of the AJP. Nick played with me on 5 original tracks from AJP's CD "The Clown". I have to say I am honoured... Be sure there's more to come...

History flashback... The Art of Joy project live unplugged 19 Jan 2011

A year ago, on 19 January 2011, the "The Art of Joy project", performed live and unplugged at "Όσο πατάει η γάτα" cafe-bar at Volos. The event was captured on video and it is available on YouTube.

"Station 1"... "Ksekourdisto Portokali", Volos (14-15/12/2011)

Mahi Vlahou-Fragou and The Art of Joy project will be participating at the first of a series of small events - "Stations" (mostly combined events) , held by Night Mail productions at various venues...

"Station 1" is Ksekourdisto Portokali. The event is scheduled to last 2 days - 14 & 15 December 2011.

In this 2-day event, NMP's woman Mahi Vlahou-Fragou is exhibiting paintings blending impresionism and cubism on both days, while Nickolas Galiouris with his "Art of Joy" project is closing the second day of the event.

It's been a while but things are getting back to normal. Some friends of mine (I cannot tell you, get serious) complained that I do no keep in touch with them through the whole myspace regime...

Night Mail productions

Night Mail productions (aka NMP) is a new independent label that has as a target to promote anything artistic (from music, to poetry, to painting and photography, etc).

NMP's first appearance dates back in 1999, with its initially greek name( Nikterino Tahidromio), and concerned a poetry collection by Nickolas Gkaliouris, named " Dreams and Visions in Blue Atmosphere"(onira kai oramata se mple atmosfera). A total of fifty (50) copies were printed and distributed free of any charge to Nickolas's friends.

The TATTOO story

Well the story goes like this...:

It all begun when Nick and I decided that I would create the artwork for the CD "The Clown".

I had no idea what the music would sound like... I only new the song titles ...

First official tattoo from a true lover ....

It's a fact!!!

A true lover, follower and active project artist decided to mark herself with an eternal symbol, a tribute to her inner soul...

Will she decide to share her story....? 

First unplugged session

The first unplugged session for "The Art of Joy project" was held last week in Volos with great success!!!
